Health Center
South Kent School is concerned with each boy’s physical, mental, and spiritual health. The health-related policies and practices at the School are designed to help encourage a healthy environment in which boys can grow and mature.
The Director of Health Services lives on campus and has office hours Monday through Friday. The School’s physician sees patients during regularly scheduled office hours in the School’s Health Center. The School’s counselor also sees students during scheduled hours. Local specialists are available for consultation, and two nearby hospitals serve the community. All appointments are made through the School Nurse’s office.

Students are responsible for visiting the clinic at these times to receive and take their medication(s) according to the prescribed schedule.
The Faculty Health Team provides additional health support for students. This Faculty Health Team meets every week with the School’s counselor to review and discuss various health issues as they pertain to the School in general and individual students in particular.
