Parent Committee

South Kent School parents have joined together to form the Parents' Committee. At SKS, faculty and parents work in partnership for the sake of the students' mental, spiritual, social and physical growth.

The Parents' Committee's goals are to

• develop community among parents with activities such as Parent Mixers during Family Weekend.
• provide hospitality to incoming families by contacting them over the summer prior to enrollment and by welcoming them at registration.
• help the boys know their parents love them even when they're out of sight, by, for instance, creating goody bags at exam time.
• aid the Admission Office by speaking with prospective parents as requested.
• serve as a sounding board for the headmaster.

Any parents interested in becoming a member of the SKS Parents' Committee should email the Chairperson Nancy Hamilton at nansnest@optonline.net. Any current SKS parent is welcome, as are fresh ideas and new energy!
