Fifth Form - News
Five South Kent School students, Connor Greene, Jimmy Gabrione, Billy Speight Curran Forgue, and Ben Bruen, braved a severe winter storm during the School’s recent Winter Camping trip. The group, led by Fifth Form Dean Tim Bonis, returned to Mt. Greylock this year where they pitched camp for the night. While the boys were disappointed to cut the trip short due to dangerously low temperatures and high winds, they were able to spend the next day hiking at Bash Bish Falls on the NY/MA border before returning to campus.
Mr. Bonis characterized the trip as a “true test of character which all of the boys passed with flying colors. The boys maintained their sense of humor – doing what they could to keep morale up on one of the coldest nights of the year.” They pledged to take another shot at the summit in April when conditions will be more favorable.
